Community Support & Engagement
HR CDN provides ongoing support for health and wellness initiatives in the Halfway River First Nation community. This includes elder and special event support, active involvement in the annual Halfway River Rodeo, youth drivers training program, and the support of a Halfway River First Nation community member through the apprenticeship program to a full-time electrical Journeyman.
Training and Development
Our Emerging Leaders Program delivers foundational skill sets in leadership and communications training to Indigenous participants to their careers in supervisory and leadership roles. Our learning partner, SAIT, and Indigenous communities collaborate in the creation of the course curriculum that is developed with an Indigenous worldview.
Canadian Council for Aboriginal Business
We hold the Progressive Aboriginal Relations (PAR) Committed Phase Three certification from the Canadian Council for Aboriginal Business. This independent, third-party verification process formally recognizes our work with Indigenous communities and Indigenous economic reconciliation. We are one of only 40 Canadian businesses to be awarded this certification.
Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QAQC)
HR CDN’s QAQC program includes BCSA Certification, ABSA Certification and QAQC turnover packages to ensure our services are maintained at the highest standard.
