The Halfway River Group exists to stimulate economic growth through strategic and leveraged investments that build a stronger and more diversified economic base for the members of the Halfway River First Nation.
Our primary focus is to ensure that Halfway River First Nation has an opportunity to meaningfully participate in industrial projects and promote positive change for the community. To fulfill this commitment, the Halfway River Group strives to build capacity and retain capital to reinvest in skills development, infrastructure development, and economic and wellness opportunities for community members and member-owned businesses.

The President and CEO of the Halfway River Group, responsible for the strategic decisions, operations and resources of the Halfway River Group, works in the corporate office in Fort St John.
Advanced by good governance practices, Halfway River Group has an independent set of directors appointed to administer the overall strategic advancement of the corporation. To ensure the requirements of the individual business are being fulfilled, each Halfway River Group business also has a separate appointed Board of Directors to oversee the operation of each entity.
