Western Canadian Mulching Ltd. is a well-established and well-respected company with over eleven years of experience. They have had a great working relationship with Halfway River First Nation for over eight years. In 2015, this relationship was further expanded with the creation of HRWCM. HRWCM fully supports and respects the Halfway River First Nation indigenous people and their territory.

Training

Through community initiatives, we have offered training sessions on our machines for Halfway River members. This has offered exposure to becoming a mulcher operator in addition to supporting community land planning.

Opportunities

HRWCM creates employment. We encourage capacity building at all levels for First Nations and offer opportunities from shop labourer to training as a mulcher operator.

Community

HRWCM support community functions and social ventures through sponsorship of the Halfway River Rodeo, Elders’ trips, Christmas events and the Halfway River Ranch.
