Brad Bonner

Chief Executive Officer

Brad has over 35 years of leadership experience in British Columbia's Forestry, Construction, and Energy sectors, along with extensive knowledge of working with Indigenous communities in the region.

As CEO of the Halfway River Group, Brad has helped to facilitate the economic development of the Halfway River First Nation through business development, strategic investments, and negotiated agreements, assisting HRFN to work towards their goal of generational prosperity. During his tenure as CEO, Brad has led strategic planning, corporate restructuring, and governance reforms to ensure financial sustainability and operational independence for the Nation, including the recruitment of independent directors and policy development. His leadership has also supported the growth in annual revenues of the Nation’s wholly owned business, Halfway River Ventures LP, through management initiatives, infrastructure improvements, and workforce development

Earning his Master of Business Administration and Project Management Professional designation from the University of Northern British Columbia, Brad has the qualifications and experience of delivering multimillion-dollar projects while involving Indigenous communities over various industry sectors. He recently completed his ICD.D designation to further his commitment to excellence and effective leadership. His ability to earn trust, negotiate agreements, while improving operational efficiency have fostered revenue growth and heathy relationships. Brad is focused on advancing economic opportunities and community development for Halfway River First Nation.
