Jodi has been a key figure in the Halfway River Group since its inception in 2014, with a continued dedication to foster economic growth and positive change for Halfway River First Nation. In her current role, Jodi provides leadership in corporate advancement and analysis of opportunity, enhancing communications, managing the economic activities of partnerships and corporations, and serves as a director on the Halfway River Group subsidiary businesses. Jodi builds strong, profitable relationships, while enhancing awareness and understanding of the Halfway River Group through effective communication.

With a Master’s in Leadership and Administration, Jodi brings expertise in economic development, Indigenous inclusion and effective relationships, procurement policy, strategic planning, treaty negotiations, and serving as a director for Indigenous businesses to ensure sustainability and prosperity are realized. She has worked with First Nations, businesses, and governments at all levels - community, provincial, territorial, and federal - to promote Indigenous advancement through successful initiatives. As a passionate advocate for Indigenous inclusion, Jodi has facilitated discussions at prominent conferences, including the Forward Summit and BC Construction Roundtable, with topics around Empowering Indigenous Communities and Indigenous Partnerships.
